The Pivot Group Network is partnering with Zeeland, MI manufacturers to recruit a Metrology Technician who will support calibration, measurement, and quality control in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

2+ years experience in metrology or quality control in manufacturing
High school diploma or GED required
Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparators)
Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting

Responsibilities

Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on metrology equipment
Troubleshoot and repair measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and functionality
Develop and maintain calibration procedures and documentation per quality standards
Conduct Gage R&R studies and other measurement system analyses
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve measurement issues
Provide technical support and training on metrology best practices
Interpret drawings and specifications to select measurement techniques
