Job summary

KBR Careers is seeking a Metrology Technician II for the Tempe swing shift to calibrate IMTE and guide workflow with other technicians. The role requires coordinating in-house and external calibrations and ensuring traceability to NIST, with a 2pm–10pm schedule.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree or 3+ years of experience, strong MS Office skills, and US citizenship. This position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and a collaborative lab environment at Tempe.

Qualifications

• Requires degree or equivalent with calibration experience.
• Proficiency in calibration and measurement with traceability to NIST.
• Must have strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and certification of electronic measuring and test equipment per specifications.
• Calibrate and repair equipment such as Multimeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, and pressure devices.
• Record maintenance activities and generate reports for customers and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate calibrations in-house and with external vendors.
