Job summary

Sr. Metrology Technician at KBR Careers in Deer Valley, Phoenix, AZ, performs routine calibrations, tests and inspections in-lab or on-site using accredited standards and supports day-to-day escalations.

Responsibilities include setting up test equipment calibration systems, creating uncertainty budgets per ISO 17025, and assisting entry level technicians as they learn procedures while maintaining traceability and audit readiness for customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with extensive calibration experience or an associate degree with relevant experience.
• Proficiency with calibration procedures per ISO standards and measurement tooling.
• Ability to interpret ISO 17025:2017 uncertainty budgets.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and certification of electronic and physical/dimensional measuring equipment per technical specs.
• Calibrate and repair equipment such as Multimeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, thermohygrometers.
• Document results, generate reports, and maintain CMS records.
