Job summary

KBR, Inc in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Metrology Technician II for a swing shift (2pm-10pm) to support calibration and certification of IMTE, coordinating calibrations in-house and with vendors, and ensuring traceability to NIST. The role requires strong metrology fundamentals and hands-on calibration work.

The candidate will document results and maintain calibration records using CMS, while leveraging MS Office (Excel) for reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of measurement fundamentals and calibration principles.
• Experience calibrating electronic measuring and test equipment.
• Willingness to work swing shift and handle documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and certification of electronic measuring and test equipment per specifications, ensuring NIST traceability.
• Calibrate and repair equipment such as Multimeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, pressure devices.
• Record maintenance activities in CMS and generate test result reports and documentation.
• Coordinate calibrations in-house and with external vendors as needed.
