Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions in Georgetown, KY is seeking a Technician (Quality Seibi) to perform metrology and quality checks on body tooling and assemblies during pre-production. You will operate portable CMMs, gather data from Digital Engineering systems, and troubleshoot equipment as needed.

The role requires 2–5 years in automotive/aerospace quality metrology, experience with PolyWorks and CMM tools, and the ability to work weekends or overtime.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years automotive/aerospace quality metrology experience.
• Capable of using portable CMM equipment and scanners.
• Experience with PolyWorks, Cam2, Scene, PC-DMIS.
• Strong mechanical ability with small hand tools.
• Proficient with MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Able to create and maintain schedules.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, overtime.

Responsibilities

• Check body welding tooling and part accuracy using Vectorarm, Perceptron, and FARO CMM equipment.
• Gather part information from Digital Engineering systems (PolyWorks, Catia, 3D imaging).
• Check part quality using hand tools and fixtures.
• Support Sheetmetal Sub-assembly and Body build trials during pre-production.
• Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, parts, and part fitting.
• Analyze part and sub-assembly data and provide feedback to project leaders.
