Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Metrology Technician to join the Glasgow, DE site. You will perform calibrations on commercial and R&D equipment, maintain GDP-compliant logs, and collaborate with vendors to source parts and schedule service.

You will read schematics and wiring diagrams, support safety initiatives, and troubleshoot testing equipment while working with internal and external customers to ensure timely calibrations and accurate data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean, TPM, 5S and Standard Work.
• Occasional weekend overtime.
• Experience with basic hand tools.
• Prefer experience using a CMM system with SAP/Cerdaac.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot testing equipment.

Physical & Work Environment

This role involves working across the Glasgow, Delaware site. You should be comfortable wearing proper PPE. Physical demands include standing, squatting, climbing ladders, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with Lean business systems and methodologies such as TPM, 5S and Standard Work.
• 3-5 Years experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Position will require occasional weekend overtime
• Experience with basic hand tools
• Preferred experience of using a CMM system to maintain data (SAP/Cerdaac)

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay range: $64,060 - $88,088
