Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Palo Alto is seeking a skilled individual to join their team for testing medical equipment. The role involves performing and documenting various testing procedures with specialized equipment, analyzing results, and cooperating with management on evaluations.

• Perform tests of a range of circuits, components, instruments and/or mechanical assemblies.
• Analyze test results and recommend action plans.
• Ensure proper documentation of all test procedures and findings.
• May operate various types of test equipment.

Skills

Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product

Responsibilities

• Performs non‑routine and changing testing procedures with specialized equipment, including analyzing and solving occurring deviation from agreed standards.
• Analyzes testing requirements, product specifications, set of reference values, etc., and determines test procedures, processes and tools needed.
• Designs and/or adopts test procedures, and/or designs and installs specific test environments needed according to given requirements.
• Performs calibration measures for the test tools and machines in use.
• Performs tests of a range of circuits, components, instruments and/or mechanical assemblies.
• Analyses test results, takes in/out decisions according to set of reference values.
• Cooperates with accountable Test Engineer or Production management in evaluation or interpretation of test results, and recommends ad hoc measures or action plans.
• Ensures proper documentation of all test procedures, findings and results, and files the respective protocols.
• May operate various types of test equipment.

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge

• Familiar with business tools such as: E‑mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

Typical Education and Experience

High School Degree or equivalent. 1–3 years of related experience.

Day Shift

Thursday through Saturday from 6 AM to 6 PM with alternating Wednesdays.

Base Pay Range

$46,460 – $63,888.
