Job summary

OptiMIM, a Form Technologies Company, seeks a Metrology Specialist / Supervisor to lead measurement strategy for high-volume, small precision metal components. You will develop and qualify CMM-based inspection processes, including First Article Inspection and GR&R, while supporting engineering development and manufacturing operations.

The role requires strong GD&T knowledge, Gage R&R expertise, and leadership to supervise a team in a metal injection molding environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field required or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in metrology inspection in a high-volume production environment.
• Proficiency programming and operating CMMs (OGP, Zeiss, Mitutoyo) using Zone3, PC-DMIS, Calypso or similar.

Responsibilities

• Review dimensional requirements and select best measurement processes and fixtures.
• Create and qualify measurement processes, including CMM programming; produce FAI/production reports and gage calibration certificates.
• Perform First Article Inspections, GR&R, and capability studies.
• Support production QA to improve measurement procedures and disposition of material using data analysis.
• Calibrate, inspect, measure, and test equipment; maintain calibration standards.
