Job summary

Kelly Science and Clinical FSP in West Point, PA seeks a Metrology Specialist I for a long-term engagement in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. The role focuses on equipment management, calibration, and validation support across multiple sites, with close vendor coordination and CAPA participation.

The ideal candidate holds a related Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years GMP exposure, with strong communication and independent work capability in a fast-paced lab setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological or chemical science and/or engineering.
• 2-4 years of GMP and lab equipment validation experience.
• Experience in GMP environments and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent organization and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage equipment assets at multiple locations.
• Troubleshoot and liaise with vendors/service engineers.
• Participate in computer system validation activities for new/updated equipment or software.
• Originated and progressed deviations and change control records.
• Perform investigations and assist CAPA plans.
• Contribute to SOP drafting, implementation and revisions.
• Represent lab equipment during audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Upskill in SAP, ProCal, BAS, LAMP and related repositories.
• Initiate, process and track work orders for repairs and moves.
