Job summary

Anduril Industries in Santa Ana, CA seeks a Metrology Specialist to advance maritime manufacturing. You will develop CMM inspection routines, align large-scale laser tracker measurements, and analyze dimensional data to provide feedback across R&D to production in an AS9100 environment.

You will work with Design and Manufacturing to deliver DFMI feedback, interpret GD&T on complex drawings, and generate clear inspection reports for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace or equivalent.
4+ years in manufacturing, quality or metrology.
Strong GD&T knowledge per ASME Y14.5.
Experience with PC-DMIS or Polyworks.
Experience in AS9100/ISO 9001 environments.
Ability to read complex drawings and CAD models.
Eligible for U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop, program, and execute CMM inspection routines.
Analyze data for root cause and SPC initiatives.
Collaborate with Design/Manufacturing on DFM/DFI feedback.
Create GD&T aligned inspection plans from drawings/CAD.
Generate inspection reports and drive corrective actions.
Help document metrology SOPs within AS9100 system.
Assist calibration and evaluation of metrology equipment.
