FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc. in Mesa, Arizona seeks a Metrology R&D Chemist to develop and implement advanced QC metrologies and support product development and AMLC material characterization.

You will collaborate with production QC and cross-functional teams to advance metrology capabilities, ensure quality systems, and participate in customer-driven projects. A BA/BS in a chemical or physical science and 1–2 years in semiconductors or an R&D lab are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Chemical or Physical Science.
• 1–2 years semiconductor or R&D/production lab experience.
• PhD candidates will be considered with less experience.
• Strong communication across groups and leadership potential.
• Instrumentation/analytical skills preferred: GC/GCMS, IC/ICMS, HPLC/UPLC/LCMS, ICP/OES/MS, FTIR, UV-Vis, electrochemical and wet chemistry techniques.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement analytical test methods for QC production and characterization of materials.
• Characterize raw materials, intermediates, and supply chain aspects using standard testing.
• Advance metrology capabilities through focused pursuit of new technologies.
• Participate in global alignment of QC processes and procedures.
• Lead customer-initiated projects and drive quality system improvements and roadmaps.
• Communicate activities and results clearly to management.
