Job summary

Lippert is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to inspect, test, measure, and document products to meet quality standards. You will support manufacturing by running tests, operating inspection equipment, and maintaining records while assisting investigations into quality issues.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED (technical degree preferred) and have experience in manufacturing or quality testing, with strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, or laboratory testing preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, GD&T, and specifications.
• Familiarity with SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis, 8D.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products.
• Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMMs, and optical systems.
• Record and analyze test data accurately and maintain quality documentation.
• Identify nonconforming materials and communicate findings to production and quality teams.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
