Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Metrology Process Technician to support manufacturing and system operations, including calibration, data collection, and process adjustments for memory chips and logic.

The role requires strong SPC/TPM familiarity, electro-mechanical aptitude, and proficiency with MS Office tools. You will work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to collaborate across engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certification required or equivalent
• Familiarity with SPC methods and TPM concepts is preferred
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service and teamwork
• Able to adhere to SOPs and work off-hours if needed
• Electro-mechanical aptitude and basic tool understanding

Responsibilities

• Perform metrology-related set-up, calibration, and process control tasks.
• Troubleshoot with scripts and analyze failures to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor equipment and processes; seek improvements in efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing; communicate across teams
