Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Metrology Engineer to support Metrology operations at the El Segundo and Huntington Beach sites in California. This role focuses on calibration, measurement reliability, and AS9100 compliance within the MATES organization, supporting Space & Launch programs.

You will collaborate with local and virtual teams, develop calibration procedures, and mentor technicians. First shift with occasional changes to meet program objectives; relocation is available as

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
3+ years of experience in metrology or calibration.
3+ years of experience with RF/high-frequency/microwave/dimensional/optical metrology and MTE.
Windows 10 and Microsoft Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

Apply metrology concepts including uncertainty analysis and reliability analysis.
Engage with customers to identify calibration processes and develop procedures.
Develop calibration systems, tools, and data processing methods.
Coordinate calibration and certification of tools and measurement equipment.
Maintain traceability of reference standards and procedures.
Support AS9100 compliance and knowledge sharing.
