Qualifikationen

• Minimum 4 years' metrology experience.
• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong GD&T knowledge per ASME Y14.5.
• Proficient with electronic dimensional inspection equipment (gantry CMM, laser trackers, arms).
• Experience with CAD/inspection software (Catia V5, PC-DMIS, Polyworks, Verisurf).
• Clear communication with technicians, other engineers and management on technical matters.
• Composite production experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Develop dimensional inspection programs and process documentation for composite parts and tooling.
• Interpret inspection requirements from engineering drawings to ensure compliance of inspection processes.
• Provide training to operations personnel on inspection equipment and programs.
• Operate inspection equipment for process development, troubleshooting, and engineering requests.
• Troubleshoot inspection process stoppages to minimize downtime.
• Identify and implement process improvements relating to safety, quality, and efficiency.
