Job summary

You will develop metrology procedures, conduct FAI and support APQP/PPAP, and analyze 3D data with scanning software while collaborating with engineering and production teams for continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of metrology engineering experience, preferably in automotive or metal-mechanical industries.
• Proficiency in CMM programming and use of Faro arms and height gauges.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and First Article Inspection processes.
• Experience with 3D scanning, photogrammetry, and data analysis software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain metrology procedures for accurate dimensional inspection.
• Perform measurements using CMM, Faro arms, and height gauges.
• Conduct FAI and support APQP/PPAP submissions.
• Apply non-contact measurement systems for rapid data acquisition.
• Generate and analyze 3D models for dimensional validation.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure part quality.
• Troubleshoot metrology-related issues.
• Provide feedback on design or manufacturing improvements.
