Job summary
KLA is seeking an Applications Engagement Engineer to join the CAPRES team, focusing on Texas/USA. You will develop metrology applications, lead on-site evaluations, and work with regional/capres teams to deliver measurable value in R&D and high-volume manufacturing environments.
Ideal candidates hold a PhD/MS/BS in relevant fields with experience in semiconductor metrology, data analysis, and customer-facing roles.
Qualifications
- PhD with 0+ years or MS with 3+ years or BS with 5+ years in relevant fields.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor applications and device characterization.
- Experience with data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, JMP) and strong English communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement CAPRES metrology applications for sheet resistance.
- Define characterization plans and analyze electrical and magnetic data for evaluations.
- Support on-site customer engagements with US focus and tool evaluations.
- Collaborate with regional teams and CAPRES HQ for knowledge transfer.
