Bi-State Development seeks a Signal Electrician MetroLink for Swansea-3rd shift to maintain routeside signaling and train control equipment. You will handle interlocking signals, track circuits, grade crossing warning systems, and power distribution across MetroLink infrastructure.

The role requires extensive knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, mechanical systems, and roadside signaling performance, with emergency response duties and on-call maintenance. High safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrician or signal person with railroad or transit signal experience.
• Must pass mechanical, high voltage electrical and electronic aptitude exams.

Responsabilités

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair wayside signaling and train control equipment.
• Respond to service calls to diagnose and fix MetroLink electrical systems (24/7).
• Operate vehicles/equipment for maintenance on road and rail.
• Activate/deactivate signal, train control and traction power systems during emergencies.
