Job summary

Transdev in St. Paul, MN is seeking experienced Non-CDL Bus Drivers to join our team. We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities, with a starting wage of $24.80 per hour and a focus on safe, reliable passenger service.

As a driver, you will follow routes precisely, assist passengers, perform pre/post-trip checks, and adhere to DOT and company safety standards. A competitive benefits package applies for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Availability for day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safety-Focused Operations: Execute flawless operations by following routes and schedules with safety protocols.
• Passenger Care: Provide excellent care and assistance for boarding, rides and disembarkation.
• Vehicle Vigilance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Adherence to Protocols: Enforce seat belts, emergency readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required.

We are currently on the lookout for experienced Bus Drivers to join our elite team in St. Paul, MN. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

CBA Position

• Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Starting pay: $24.80 / hour
• Full-time – 36+ hours
• Part-time – Up to 35 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Safety-Focused Operations: Execute flawless operations by meticulously following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Passenger Care: Exhibit exceptional care and assistance toward passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation for all.
• Vehicle Vigilance: Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
• Adherence to Protocols: Uphold company policies and procedures rigorously, encompassing seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with regulatory mandates.
• Other duties as required.

• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• General exposure to long periods of sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
