Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Metro General Manager to own the performance of a large HVAC and Controls business in a metropolitan market. You will drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction while building leaders and strengthening strategic relationships across the market.

The role requires a seasoned executive with 10+ years in HVAC/building systems, a strong track record managing multi-site operations, and an ability to translate enterprise strategy into local execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level or higher in a related field; MBA preferred for senior leadership.
• Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams and substantial P&L.
• Proven ability to translate enterprise strategy into local market execution.

Responsibilities

• Own metro P&L, growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and execute local market strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams across sales, operations, service, and project delivery.
• Build executive-level relationships with key customers and partners.
