Johnson Controls is seeking a dynamic Metro General Manager to lead a large-scale security systems, service, and sales business in a metropolitan market. You will drive growth, profitability, customer outcomes, and a culture of safety and quality.

In this role, you will own the P&L, set local market strategies, coach cross-functional teams, and build strong executive-level relationships with customers and partners while developing future leaders across the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of leadership in Security systems, building automation, or related technical industries.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and large operations.
• Proven success managing a substantial P&L and growth.
• Strong strategic, operational, and financial management skills.
• Experience leading sales, operations, service, and project execution.
• Executive presence with ability to influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the metro business with accountability for growth, execution, profitability, and customer experience.
• Develop and execute local market strategies aligned with Johnson Controls growth objectives.
• Own the P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for the assigned business.
• Drive revenue growth, margin performance, and operational efficiency across functions.
• Lead and coach cross-functional teams including sales, operations, service, and project leadership.
• Build executive relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Support disciplined service delivery, project execution, inventory management, and cost control.
• Identify market trends and guide business decisions with data and market insight.
• Develop future leaders and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
