Job summary

Renew Cannabis Co. in Trenton, NJ is seeking an Inventory Technician to work with the inventory and cultivation teams to ensure accurate tracking of plant and product movement using METRC, while maintaining compliance across the facility.

You will conduct regular counts, audit room data, support waste logging and data entry, and train teammates on data collection procedures to uphold regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with computer and mobile routing software and mapping programs.
• 2+ years of data management and auditing experience.
• Advanced knowledge and experience managing database systems and/or data warehouse including
• Advanced knowledge and experience with data integration and extraction from and to multiple diverse data sources and software programs.
• Enjoys solving complex data problems and possesses strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage several tasks/projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conducts inventory inspections and maintains METRC logs to ensure traceability of plant/product movement.
• Communicates with cultivation team to create new plantings in METRC using clone logs.
• Create METRC plant tags for plants.
• Weekly counts of each flower room and Mother Room; verify counts.
• Audit plant rooms monthly in METRC and document discrepancies.
• Enter data to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Log waste and ensure proper disposal; maintain waste logs.
• Assist grow team during harvests and upload new plants to rooms in METRC.
• Assist other departments with monthly audits and training on data collection.
