British American Household Staffing seeks an experienced Temporary Housekeeper for a Nolita, Manhattan residence to help maintain a 3,000-square-foot home while the current housekeeper is on medical leave.

The role covers full-charge cleaning, laundry, linen changes, and care of delicate furnishings and artwork. Schedule typically 3–5 days per week, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, with potential for full-time if hours increase.

Qualificações

• Prior professional housekeeping experience in private homes.
• Excellent, verifiable references.
• Strong knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and care of delicate surfaces and furnishings.
• Experience handling fine artwork, glass, and fragile decorative pieces.
• Ability to manage laundry and household linens.
• Comfortable around dogs.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Available for a temporary assignment of approximately 3–6 months.
• Light ironing skills are a plus.
• Basic family cooking skills are a plus, but not required

Responsabilidades

• Full-charge housekeeping and detailed cleaning of the approximately 3,000-square-foot residence.
• Thorough cleaning and maintenance of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common living areas.
• Careful dusting and cleaning around delicate artwork, glass, and fragile decorative items.
• Changing bed linens and laundering bedding and towels.
• Handling household laundry, including clothing and linens.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the home.
• Performing deeper cleaning projects and rotating household tasks as time permits.
• Keeping guest rooms clean and prepared for visiting family members.
