The TikTok Shop US operation team aims to deliver high quality products together with a unique customer experience via TikTok. The team is responsible for building the TikTok E-commerce partnership for the TikTok e-commerce business in the US. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short‑term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real‑world experience. You will gain practical skills through on‑the‑job learning in a fast‑paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period.

Responsibilities

• Localize and refine seller‑facing operational content, including playbooks, research materials, and best practices, to ensure clarity, actionability, and relevance for US‑based sellers.
• Develop educational resources such as training guides, operational playbooks, case studies, and instructional materials tailored to sellers at different stages of growth.
• Support go‑to‑market efforts for new product features targeting US sellers, gather seller feedback, and translate insights into structured product recommendations.
• Engage directly with sellers through online communities and one‑on‑one conversations to identify user needs, cultivate early adopters, and promote methodology awareness and adoption.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to work independently, manage goals effectively, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with data and proficient in using AI productivity tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of professional and localized communication for US audiences; experience living or studying in the United States is a plus.
• Previous internship experience at an e‑commerce platform or media company is preferred.

Los Angeles County Applicants

• Interacting and occasionally having unsupervised contact with internal/external clients and/or colleagues;
• Appropriately handling and managing confidential information including proprietary and trade secret information and access to information technology systems;
• Exercising sound judgment.

Job Information

Compensation Description (Hourly) – Campus Intern

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $23.75 – $23.75.

Benefits

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day‑one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in the first half of the year, 40 hours if hired in the second half). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for a housing allowance.
