Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electrical/electronic technology or equivalent with 6+ years in measurements/engineering and supervisory skills.
• Or a High School diploma/GED with 8+ years in measurements/engineering and supervisory skills.
• Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and coordinate meter activities of field personnel for safe construction, operation, and maintenance of meters and metering equipment.
• Perform field engineering for installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of meters and metering equipment across residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Oversee meter testing programs and ensure conformance with AEP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate planning and maintenance of distribution control equipment and AMI network infrastructure.
• Conduct meter training programs for staff and ensure proper procedures are followed.
