Precision Pipeline Solutions, LLC is seeking a Meter Mechanic to restore utilities after construction. You’ll handle basic gas pipe assembly and relight appliances, using common hand tools such as wrenches and pliers.

Experience in plumbing or HVAC is a plus; OQ qualifications through Con Ed are required during training. The role offers a solid benefits package, paid training, and opportunities for advancement; work is Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30 with OT potential and company-provided vehicle and

Competenze

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push and/or pull, twist and make repetitive hand movements.
• Ability to load, carry, lift, push and/or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must safely operate a motorized vehicle.
• Complies with PPS safety rules and regulations.

Meter Mechanic

• $20/hr can move to $28 once qualifications & progress is obtained
• Monday - Friday, 8:00 to 4:30 pm potential for OT

Meter Mechanic is responsible for turning utilities back on after construction. Basic gas pipe assembly and configuration along with knowledge on how to relight household and commercial appliances would allow us to fast-track any applicant to becoming a standalone mechanic. PPS is seeking individuals who have experience in handling light tooling such as pipe wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and adjustable wrenches. Experience in plumbing or HVAC is a serious plus.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push and/or pull, twist and make repetitive hand movements. Ability to load, carry, lift, push and/or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Sitting or standing for prolonged period of time required. Must have the ability to safely operate a motorized vehicle.
