Florida Power & Light Company is hiring a Helper to join the Customer Service team. The role involves removing and installing self-contained single-phase on-demand meters in customer facilities as part of a one-person crew after completing the Meterman B Training Program.

The position emphasizes safety, ability to read watt-hour meters, and readiness to travel and support storm events. Work hours are typically 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with extended hours as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License (NON CDL) and ability to obtain Class A CDL.
• Must pass Occupational Vision Test.
• Must pass Constr and Skilled Trades Test - CAST.
• Must be physically able to perform all assigned tasks.
• Able to work in inclement weather, direct sunlight, and at night.
• Must follow safety rules for personal, crew and public safety.
• Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval.

Responsabilidades

• Assist skilled workers and perform unskilled tasks as directed.
• Support meter installation/removal in customer facilities as a one-person crew after training.
• Follow safety protocols and work within the MOA and safety handbook.
