Job summary

Ulteig seeks a Meter Inspector to understand design drawings, implement meter programs, install and certify 3-phase revenue meters, and verify field wiring. You will test and troubleshoot meters, read real-time data, and ensure accuracy in commercial and utility-scale installations.

The role requires a technical degree with engineering background, 4+ years in revenue metering, and willingness to travel nationwide, with emphasis on Texas and California.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree with an engineering background or a bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in revenue metering or equivalent.
• Metering Inspector certification/badge preferred (e.g., ERCOT EPS or CAISO Authorized Inspector).

Responsibilities

• Create/modify SLD and 3LD, schematics, and wiring diagrams for meters.
• Install, test, troubleshoot, and certify revenue meters and data recorders.
• Program revenue meters to account for system losses and read real-time data.
• Verify wiring and meter accuracy for commercial and utility-scale installations.
