Job summary

Minnkota Power Cooperative seeks a Meter Data Administrator in the Power Supply Department at our Grand Forks, ND headquarters. The role collects substation meter data for billing and reporting to MISO and other agencies.

The position operates the remote meter interrogation system, maintains MVWEB/MV90 software, and prepares data analyses for internal departments. Strong Excel skills required and driving is needed.

Qualifications

• Requires two-year electronics program or equivalent experience.
• MV90 certification offsite will be required.
• Valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate the remote meter interrogation system.
• Plan and develop the remote interrogation metering system.
• Coordinate remote meter interrogation system processes.
• Collect meter data daily via phone, modem, or internet.
• Resolve metering issues with Minnkota members and other utilities.
• Prepare meter data reports for members and utilities.
• Maintain MVWEB/MV90 software and upgrades.
• Provide data support for other departments and special projects.
