Position Title : METCO Instructional and Transportation Assistant
Primary Purpose
The METCO Instructional and Transportation Assistant (ITA) is part of the METCO and Lincoln instructional team and provides instructional and transportation support and guidance to students. The METCO ITA is also responsible for other duties as assigned by the K-8 METCO Academic and Enrichment Coordinator, METCO Director, and School Principal (e.g., recess supervision, lunch supervision, substitute teaching, in-class support, METCO Program tasks, etc.).
Contractual Relationship
The METCO Instructional and Transportation Assistant (ITA) is employed by the district through yearly appointments and is compensated in accordance with hourly rates established by the School Committee.
Organizational Relationship
The METCO Instructional and Transportation Assistant (ITA) reports to the METCO Director, the K-8 METCO Academic and Enrichment Coordinator, and School Principal.
