Responsible for loading and packing materials into containers for transport and burial, as well as operating forklifts and other equipment as needed. Adheres to company procedures, work instructions, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs). While you may specialize in a specific area, you will also develop knowledge and skills across multiple operational functions.* Follows all safety rules, regulations and procedures. Maintains a clean and orderly work area.* Receives oral and/or written instructions from supervisors. Reads and interprets procedures, operations and equipment manuals, as well as waste processing instructions, to be accountable for activities within assigned areas.* Operates machinery as required.* Wears personal protective equipment (PPE).* Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly inspections to ensure area and equipment safety.* Demonstrates familiarization with multiple processes such as Cutting and Sizing, Mold Shop, Commercial Cert, Furnace Operations, High Rad Operations, Lead Melting, Lead Casting, Block Prep, Identification of Metals, Material Handling, Workbench/EWT and Paperwork, Baghouse Operations.* Works under supervision.* Ability to perform physically demanding work.* Able to complete the following qualifications: + <30,000 lbs.
