Job summary

Jobot in the Quad Cities area is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly production teams in a high-volume metals manufacturing environment. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and employee development while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

This role reports to an Operations Manager, manages rotating 12-hour shifts, and aims to meet production goals while fostering a positive, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop hourly production employees in a manufacturing setting.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production processes.
• Drive production performance, delivery reliability, and waste reduction efforts.
• Respond quickly to operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Coach and mentor employees to improve engagement, accountability, and performance.
• Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams to address equipment-related challenges.
• Establish work priorities and ensure production objectives are met.
