Job summary

Knoll is seeking a Manufacturing/Operations leader for the Metals Value Stream. The role ensures safety, quality, cost control, and continuous improvement across multi-shift operations.

This leader partners with engineering, planning, information systems, and supply management to deliver results and drive change. The position requires 8–10 years of management experience in manufacturing, focus on lean principles, and the ability to mentor executives and frontline staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, engineering, or related areas.
• 8-10 years successful management experience with primary focus in operations and manufacturing-related processes; 4 of these at a senior level leading salaried employees.
• Previous experience with Metal Fabrication/Assembly Systems/Painting preferred
• Demonstrated ability to establish strategic direction and lead change initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a plant-wide communication plan and meeting cadence.
• Plans and manages capital and expense dollars for the plant and drives EVA.
• Champions Lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste.
• Plans for workforce staffing, performance management, training, and development.
• Provides leadership for new product development from manufacturing perspective.
