Job summary

Viega LLC in McPherson, KS, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the Metals Maintenance department and drive reliability and efficiency in a global leader. You will manage a high-performance team, implement advanced maintenance programs, and ensure safe, data-driven decisions across the operation.

You will develop and execute maintenance strategies, manage budgets, and report KPIs, while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5–7 years in management OR 7–10 years maintenance leadership.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performance maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of PM, PdM, Lean Six Sigma and maintenance in manufacturing.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead & develop a high-performing team of maintenance professionals.
• Drive strategic maintenance initiatives for preventive, corrective, and predictive programs.
• Champion operational excellence with Lean Six Sigma and CI tools.
• Manage budgets and SAP-based spending aligned to goals.
