Job summary

Aerotek in Wheeling, IL is seeking Machine Operators for Fin Tube milling in a clean, modern metals manufacturing facility. You will set up and run Fin Tube machines, inspect in-process material, identify defects, and record production data to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

This full-time position offers 2nd and 3rd shifts, on-site work, and hands-on training with opportunities for career growth within a global organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ months manufacturing experience
• Understanding of decimals and fractions
• Ability to stand all day and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Fin Tube machines
• Inspect in-process material and report defects
• Record quality data, scrap counts, and material usage
• Perform quality checks, load/unload machines, lift 40–50 lbs
• Operate overhead crane as needed
• Full training provided
