1000 Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Process Engineer responsible for starting up and optimizing processes. This position involves improving product quality and reducing costs by diagnosing assembly process problems.
The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in a related field and experience with thin-film deposition techniques like ALD and CVD, as well as surface analysis techniques such as XPS and AFM.

As a Process Engineer you will be primarily responsible for starting up, developing and optimizing processes to improve product quality and reliability, workflow and yield, and for reducing costs and managing risks by identifying, diagnosing, and resolving assembly process problems using failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, or SPC/FDC methodologies.
