Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc. in Lyons, NC seeks a Divisional Safety Manager to lead safety programs for the Metals Division, prevent injuries, control exposure to lead and chemicals, and reinforce the Safety Management System.

The role reports to the Director of Health & Safety and works with Operations to embed safety into daily production. You will mentor floor leadership, develop training, investigate incidents, coordinate corrective actions, and promote a strong safety culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, Environmental, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry preferred; professional certification is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain SMS.
• Develop incident prevention programs and train staff on safe work practices.
• Coach supervisors to reduce exposure to high-energy hazards and lead investigations.
