Job summary

Johnson Matthey is seeking a Metallurgist II to lead materials development and research from concept to delivery. You will provide physical metallurgy expertise to support R&D and manufacturing operations, plan and analyze experiments, and help evaluate capital projects through process development.

The role:

As a Metallurgist II, you will help drive our goals by:

• Lead materials development and research projects from concept through delivery.
• Provide physical metallurgy expertise to support R&D and manufacturing operations.
• Plan, execute and analyze experiments and production trials.
• Support capital projects through process development and equipment evaluations.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
