Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. invites applications for a Metallurgical Engineer Intern at the Marigold mine in Valmy, Nevada. This 10-week, full-time internship runs mid-May to mid-August with a 4x10 hours per day, reporting to the Chief Metallurgist.

Housing and relocation assistance are provided, and applicants must submit proof of enrollment and a 3.0+ GPA. Interns will work across metallurgical labs, assay labs, and the process plant, performing projects related to heap leaching and the Zadra strip

Qualifications

• Must be an enrolled Metallurgical/related engineering student (full-time) at a accredited North American college or university.
• Must complete a minimum ten-week internship, report to Chief Metallurgist, and provide transcripts as attachments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in metallurgical lab, assay lab, and process plant activities.
• Support heap leach, Zadra strip circuit projects; help with safety inspections and housekeeping.
• Contribute to data analysis for labs and process plant; report findings to team.
