Caterpillar’s Advanced Materials Technology Department seeks an experienced Metallurgical Engineering Manager to lead a large, multidisciplinary team supporting machines, engines, components, and manufacturing operations. You will oversee the Metallurgical Lab and collaborate across Caterpillar to deliver world-class materials engineering support.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience leading other leaders and developing strong technical and leadership talent.
• Broad experience supporting multiple product and operations organizations.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop materials engineering talent, building depth, leadership, and metallurgical expertise.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight for metallurgical reports, analyses, tests, and lab support.
• Lead the Metallurgical Lab delivering testing for CPI, NPI, and PPAP activities.
• Partner with internal clients to set service requirements, priorities, budgets, and solutions.
• Build a high-performing organization with safety, engineering excellence, and talent development.
