Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of related professional experience.
• PE or P. Eng licensure in Metallurgical Engineering or related discipline required.
• Laboratory with materials characterization techniques experience (SEM, EDS, XPS, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities.
• Grow Exponent's metallurgical and corrosion engineering consulting, especially lab-based analysis.
• Analyze safety, performance, and reliability issues using lab work, field inspections, and testing.
