Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of post-high school in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum 3 years in a materials laboratory setting; aerospace experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed technical specifications and drawings.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct metallographic examinations and advanced specimen preparation.
• Perform microstructure analysis using optical and digital microscopy and hardness testing.
• Document results and prepare technical reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Assist in calibration, process improvement, and mentoring of junior staff.
