On-Board Services is seeking a Metallization Laboratory Technician for a contract assignment in Marlborough, MA. The role involves routine testing, evaluation of metallization products, and optimization of electroplating processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science or Engineering.
• Experience with SEM/EDS, HPLC, GC, AES and surface analysis methods; applied electrochemistry experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and adherence to best practices within Metallization team.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Effective written and verbal communication with team and management.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tests per established protocols.
• Evaluate new metallization products, processes, and technologies.
• Optimize and improve processes in Electroplating and MHC areas.
• Prepare and analyze plated samples using cross-sectioning, X-Ray, and surface characterization techniques.
• Analyze bath compositions using titration and electrochemical methods.
• Support Field Service with new product installations and troubleshooting.
