Job summary

PPG Industries in Sylmar, CA is hiring a Metallic Coating Technician. The role involves applying organic coatings to substrates in a production environment with strict safety protocols and PPE.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Metallic Coating Technician - Sylmar, CA

Pay: $28.02 per hour

Shift: 1st, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, Monday - Friday, OT as needed and OT on weekends as needed

Primary Responsibilities

• You will be working in a cleanroom environment that requires wearing PPE.
• You will be working with solvents such as I.P.A and Acetone.
• Must have good record keeping skills.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Positively contributes to a team environment.
• Collaborates with team members and supports team engagement initiatives.
• Proficient with using a computer and basic understanding of Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
• Perform TPMs on equipment.
• Will be required to wear a respirator.
• Monitor UV curing robots.
