Job summary

Danis Construction Inc. is seeking a full-time metal stud framer/drywall hanger for commercial construction projects in the Austin area.

The role focuses on precise drywall alignment, stud framing, and efficient use of leveling and fastener tools on hospitals, life sciences, and manufacturing sites. Applicants should have at least 3 years of drywall experience in commercial settings, own reliable transportation, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with drywall on commercial (non-residential) jobs.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install track and studs from 14 to 20 gauge.
• Able to use laser levels.
• Able to use fast-track and power actuated tools.
• Able to measure cuts for drywall.
• Ability to read specs for proper drywall placement.
• Ability to pull wall measurements.
• Ability to plan work and be prepared with proper tools.
• Assist in training/orientation of employees when needed.
• Assist in employment processes as requested.
• Promote teamwork and positive communication.
