DPR Construction is seeking a skilled drywall installer in Austin, TX. The role focuses on installing drywall systems to create durable surfaces aligned with design standards, while coordinating with team members to resolve challenges and maintain project efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in drywall work, an apprenticeship or equivalent experience, and OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (preferred; completion within 6 months of hire required).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• 2–4 years of drywall installation, finishing, or related field experience.

Responsabilités

• Installs metal stud framing and drywall panels with accurate measurement, cutting, and secure attachment.
• Inspects completed work for smoothness and alignment per project specs.
• Coordinates with trades and team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion.
• Maintains records of materials used and progress for reporting and inventory.
• Identifies installation or finishing challenges to leadership for resolution.
• Keeps work areas clean, organized, and safe during all drywall processes.
