Danis Construction Inc. is hiring a full-time metal stud framer/drywall hanger for our commercial projects in Raleigh, NC. The role requires installing track and studs, reading drawings, and using lasers and measuring tools on site.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of drywall experience on non-residential jobs, a high school diploma or GED, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

Duties:

• Install track and studs from 14 to 20 gauge
• Able to use laser levels
• Able to use fast-track and power actuated tools
• Able to measure cuts for drywall
• Ability to read specs for proper drywall placement
• Ability to pull wall measurements
• Ability to plan work and be prepared with proper tools

• Assist in the training/orientation of employees when needed
• Assist in the employment processes as requested
• Promote teamwork and positive communication among employees
• Attend and participate in miscellaneous site meetings, sharing knowledge, information, and ideas when needed

Working Conditions:

Work is often performed outside under any type of weather conditions. Exposure to varying degrees/amounts of heat, cold, dust, dampness, ice, precipitation and mud.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to: Climb and maintain balance on scaffolds and ladders; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects and materials; lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds repetitively to meet the physical demands of our industry. Stand or walk, stoop kneel crouch and crawl for long periods of time must have acceptable vision (either naturally or with correction)
