Job summary

Spincraft in New Berlin, WI is seeking a Spinner to operate spinning machinery, read blueprints, and set up tools to meet precise specifications. You will monitor quality, maintain a safe, clean work area, and document production activities to ensure adherence to process controls.

The role requires reading work orders, complying with safety policies, and supporting lean/6S initiatives while sustaining output and quality. 7:00AM-3:30PM schedule applies, with training and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• Read work orders, blueprints, and specs to determine operation requirements.
• Operate CNC and hand spin lathe to meet specifications.
• Select spin tools such as chucks, rollers, trimming tools.
• Measure and mark cut/trim lines using measuring instruments.
• Install and align machine accessories.
• Document production and quality logs as needed.
• Follow 6S, lean, and SQDC objectives.

Responsibilities

• Operate spinning machinery to produce metal components as per specs.
• Monitor quality and safety while maintaining production pace.
• Train others and participate in audits as directed.
• Assist with routine maintenance and housekeeping per site standards.
