Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Experience with metal sorting a plus; ability to distinguish metals and other materials for grading and safety hazards.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations.
• Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and upholds the CMC Safety Culture.
• Assists in performing inventory on materials.
• Grading and inspecting inbound loads; identify excessive dirt, trash, or plastic.
• Identify and sort various metals.
• Keep records of incoming loads and materials.
• Identify and eliminate hazards from incoming loads before processing.
