Job summary

Commercial Metals is seeking team members to support production and material sorting in our facilities. The roles offer comprehensive training, a safety-driven culture, and opportunities to advance within a Fortune 500 company.

You will perform physical tasks, operate production equipment, and contribute to a clean, safe work environment while complying with procedures and guidelines. The job suits motivated individuals who can work in varying weather and lift heavy loads as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Experience with metal sorting is a plus but not required; ability to distinguish between metals/materials for grading and recognizing hazards.
• Frequently lift 25 lbs or more; carry or push objects up to 100 ft.
• Perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling and crouching; stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations
• Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
• Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
